His investment approach emphasizes capital preservation, conservative leverage, and underwriting based on in-place fundamentals.
White Rock Capital targets core-plus and value-add multifamily opportunities, primarily throughout the Sunbelt, including Texas and Florida. The firm partners selectively with high-net-worth individuals and family offices seeking long-term, risk-adjusted real estate exposure.
Azi maintains direct involvement across acquisition, underwriting, capital structuring, and asset-level execution, with a focus on alignment, transparency, and repeatable investment processes.

Kashif Khan is an entrepreneur, investor, and board advisor with deep experience across healthcare, genomics, real estate, and public equity markets. He is the founder and CEO of The DNA Company, where he helped lead the application of functional genomics into personalized and preventative healthcare, working alongside physicians and research teams to translate complex genetic data into practical clinical and consumer use.
In parallel with his work in healthcare innovation, Kashif has built an active investment track record across real estate and equities, with particular focus on businesses and assets supported by long-term demographic, technological, and healthcare-driven trends. His cross-disciplinary perspective allows him to evaluate opportunities through both a scientific rigor and capital-allocation framework.

Jerry Bouchard is a seasoned real estate finance executive and co-owner of HardMoney Company, bringing more than three decades of experience across private lending, consumer finance, and real estate markets. A DMV native, Jerry possesses deep, cycle-tested knowledge of local and regional real estate dynamics, borrower behavior, and collateral risk.
Prior to co-founding HardMoney Company, Jerry built his career at a publicly traded consumer finance firm, where he opened and managed multiple territories and oversaw large lending portfolios. His progression through senior operating roles provided him with extensive experience in credit decisioning, risk management, and scalable operations—skills that later translated directly into private real estate lending.
For over 30 years, Jerry has built and grown multiple successful businesses, culminating in the founding and expansion of the HardMoney Company. Through this platform, Jerry has evaluated, structured, and funded a wide range of real estate transactions, working closely with investors, operators, and contractors to deliver fast, flexible capital while maintaining disciplined underwriting standards.
As a member of White Rock Capital’s Board of Advisors, Jerry provides valuable insight into debt markets, lender expectations, borrower risk profiles, and real-time market conditions. Her background is rooted in identifying mispriced and distressed opportunities, implementing disciplined value-creation strategies, and driving operational improvements to maximize cash flow and asset performance. Samia brings deep expertise in underwriting, financial analysis, and accounting, with a hands-on, detail-driven approach that reflects the perspective of a capital-at-risk owner rather than a passive advisor.

Rosemary Tran Lauer is a real estate investor and advisory board member with deep experience in commercial development, underwriting, and long-term asset strategy. Her expertise is grounded in decades of hands-on involvement alongside her late husband, Bill Lauer, a respected real estate developer known for disciplined execution across ground-up, adaptive reuse, and value-add commercial projects.
Through this work, Rosemary was actively involved in deal evaluation, feasibility analysis, risk management, and capital allocation, developing an operator-level understanding of development economics and downside protection. She is the founder of Tetra Global Real Estate, LLC, owner of Tetra Partnerships, and a former top-producing Commercial Realtor with Long & Foster.
In parallel, Rosemary is the President and Founder of Devotion to Children (DTC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit she launched in 1994 to expand access to high-quality early childhood education for underserved families. Over three decades, DTC has mobilized more than $1 million in charitable funding to support program development and facility build-outs in the U.S. and abroad, reflecting her long-standing commitment to stewardship, governance, and community impact.

Evan Roark is a seasoned real estate operator and advisor with extensive experience across asset management, distressed real estate, and value-driven investment strategies. Through his leadership at Foster Realty, Evan oversees more than $100 million in assets under management, spanning commercial and residential properties, with a focus on operational optimization, risk mitigation, and long-term value preservation.
His background includes hands-on execution in complex situations such as short sales, foreclosures, and high-risk asset transitions, as well as the repositioning and stabilization of income-producing assets. Evan has successfully led initiatives that restored underperforming properties to full occupancy, including the turnaround of a shopping center from 79% occupancy to stabilized performance, while managing seamless transitions of property management to protect investor capital.
Evan’s approach is grounded in disciplined asset management, strategic marketing, and meticulous operational oversight—principles that align closely with White Rock Capital’s emphasis on downside protection, durable cash flow, and risk-adjusted returns. His experience working with high-net-worth individuals and institutional-scale investors provides valuable perspective across investment execution and portfolio management.

Sabrina is an attorney with deep experience in high-stakes corporate transactions. She earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University, and previously practiced mergers and acquisitions at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York City, advising on several complex and high-value transactions.
In addition to her legal practice, Sabrina is an experienced investor in real estate and public equities and has financed multiple commercial real estate transactions alongside other sponsors and investors. Her combined legal and capital-markets perspective strengthens White Rock Capital’s institutional discipline around deal structuring, risk management, and alignment of interests—core priorities for long-term limited partners.
In her spare time, she enjoys extensive reading, spending time with friends and family, and international travel.
